Welcome to Beechwood High School...
Beechwood High School (7th-12th grades) has an enrollment of approximately 575 students with graduating classes numbering around 90 students. On average, well over 90% or more of Beechwood graduates go on to attend college. The school offers a full curriculum including Advanced Placement classes leading to the Commonwealth Diploma and a variety of electives and required core courses which are designed to maximize student achievement. A recent science building addition provides state-of-the-art laboratory facilities. The library/media center contains a computerized on-line circulation system, on-line databases for access to research information, and numerous computer workstations which have access to the Internet. Internet access is also available in all classrooms and labs. Last but not least, Beechwood offers many outstanding extracurricular activities, and because of the school's small size, opportunities for participation and leadership abound.
